The apartments are well on their way and I reckon they will be the best place to stay in Edithburgh when they are done. Give them a look, you wont be disappointed.

I stayed at the Edithburgh Foreshore Apartments last week (19th -22nd June) and to say I enjoyed myself is an understatement. The apartments are now under new management and the new owners are dropping some serious coin to ensure that your stay is as comfortable as comfortable. My apartment (#4) had a brand new bathroom with one of the most important items I think you need in any accomodation... A bloody decent shower, nice and hot and lots of it. The bed was comfortable and whilst it was freezing cold outside, the apartment stayed pretty warm throughout the night. the new leather lounges provide a comfortable place to sit and relax when you are not watching the ocean from you front door. In #4 the spare room had a bunk bed and a single with a cupboard for all the rug rats things. The kitchen is also a great addition. With full size oven and fridge, its great to be able to cook a home made meal when away.

Lastly the outside. The new owners are not only putting effort in to the apartments, the exterior is getting a facelift too. When I was there, the old tired gardens were removed and a new lawned area going in out the front which personally I think would be an awesome spot to watch the sunset with some wine and cheese.

This place is a disgrace. The blankets we were provided were old rags, we had to collect all of them from both rooms and had the vintage bar heater going all night + the stove to keep warm. The toilet seat has a coat of paint (scratched & peeled in places) on it to try to hide its age (scary to sit on). The old (very) spring mattresses made a lot of noise & let you feel all the springs. There are no power points in any of the bedrooms. The door of the oven was off its hinges. Only two very old and dirty single seat lounge chairs in a 4 person unit. The BBQ for the use of guests is very old and dirty and its easy to understand why it looks as though no one has used it in a long time. If you stay in this place you will regret it and go home very stressed and tired. Pay the little bit extra and stay somewhere comfortable and have a nice holiday then leave relaxed. Many places have a stay two nights - get one free offer which make them far better value than this dump.

A short drive from Adelaide with the best views on the YP! Rooms have been tastefully renovated giving them a fresh feel. Great value and highly recommend.
